Here are just a few of the protocols that our team at Sea Star Property Management have put in place to ensure vacation homes are properly disinfected before and after each guest.
- Using the right disinfectant. Once the home is thoroughly cleaned, we treat both hard and soft surfaces throughout the home with an EPA approved disinfectant. The most common household disinfectants registered by the Environmental Protection Agency, are believed to be effective against the coronavirus. Special attention is paid to frequently touched surfaces, like light switches, remote controls, doorknobs, and faucet handles.
- ALL linens are washed and dried at the highest heat setting as recommended by the manufacturer. That includes bedsheets, mattress covers, hand/bath towels, kitchen towels, and blankets. Our cleaning staff put on fresh gloves prior to remaking the beds and laying out clean towels.
- ALL kitchen utensils, plates, cookware, containers, and serving dishes are disinfected and sanitized after every guest. This is done through a high heat and sanitization setting on dishwashers. Again, our cleaning staff use new, fresh gloves when putting away these items.
We also make sure each home is supplied with the basic hygiene/cleaning
essentials:
- Hand soap
- Paper towels
- Disinfecting cleaning supplies
- Toilet Paper
