Privacy Policy – What personal data we collect and why we collect it
In our privacy policy, we recognize the importance of protecting the personal information you provide at Almost Home Real Estate Services (“AHRES”), we maintain the following privacy policy:

AHRES gathers the following types of information needed to process your transactions, fulfill your requests, and maintain our membership records:
- The contact information you provide (for example, your personal and business addresses, phone and fax numbers, firm affiliations and titles).
- Tracking information which our Web server automatically recognizes each time you visit one of our sites or communicate with us by email (for example, your domain name, your email address, and what pages you visit).
- The information you volunteer, via applications, surveys or inquires.
2. AHRES uses this information to:
- Improve and customize the content and layout of our sites and other communications tools.

AHRES follows generally accepted standards to protect the information it collects and makes available via its Web sites. AHRES tests their security procedures regularly and modifies them as new technologies become feasible.

The advertising network uses cookies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you click on the banner ads appearing on our sites. This information is collected by the advertising network for purposes of measuring and reporting on the advertising to advertisers and AHRES. The advertising network may also aggregate the information for certain other statistical and reporting purposes.
9. Do-Not-Track Disclosure
Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that allows you to communicate to websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Our system does not respond to Do Not Track requests or headers from some or all browsers at this time.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Login Cookies
