A home buyer will choose the home that “feels like home.” It’s an emotional decision. It’s that feeling deep down inside that screams, “This is the one!”

The purpose of staging a home is to maximize the appeal to the most amount of buyers. If the buyer is excited about your home, they are more likely to put in an offer sooner than later for fear of missing out. They are also more likely to start with a higher initial offer for the exact same reason.

Staging Options, the big 3.

  1. Turn it over completely to a Staging Professional to add and remove furniture and decor as necessary to achieve the desired look.
  2. Stage your home with the furniture and decor you have adding minor details here and there to pull it all together.
  3. Virtually stage the home using a computer-generated program.

Home staging can be minimal for some homes and a bit more pricey on others. There is a balance of the investment of time and energy with your own decor slightly rearranged versus replacing everything with staged furniture.

We’ve even gone so far as to virtually stage new builds and empty homes to assist a buyer with the possibilities of properly scaled furniture. It’s not just for the pictures online, it’s placing a high-quality large print on an easel as they walk into that empty room that helps them envision the possibilities.
